And that is completely fine! You are most welcome to read other entries and have a look around our articles on the website that might interest you. Whatever feels comfortable and right, is right.

It's a bit hard to write what my heart is telling me as I'm not even sure what my head is telling me. But basically I've just come out of a domestic abuse thing, don't even know what to call it as it was my dad that abused me for 2 years. And don't really know how to get over it as I only met him 4 years ago

Take all the time you need and share what you feel comfortable with, when you feel comfortable sharing it.
If you feel that talking to a professional first might help, please google your national domestic violence hotline, or the dv hotline in your city/state/area. You do not have to give them your name or number, you can remain anonymous and talk for free to a trained professional mental healthcare worker. You can tell them whatever you feel ok with, and hear what free services they have for you, or how else they can help you.
Hope that helped! We are always here if you would like to share something, or also just read for now and get through maybe some of the articles on the website.

Sometimes it can be hard at first to open up, but the board here is very supportive and understanding. Take care.
