Hello,
I am a University student studying Criminology, film, Radio and Television. After studying Criminology for the last 3 years, I have come to notice Male domestic violence victims are still not getting the attention in which they require from the Criminal justice system or society.
I decided I wanted to lift the lid on the abuse and violence suffered by males, by their partners regardless of gender. I am producing a short radio documentary in which I am hoping to speak to family judges, Forensic psychologists and the Police. I just wondered whether anyone was able to provide me with their stories or even offer me a short telephone interview. Any information provided will be kept private and confidential, all names will be changed. I understand this issue, is extremely sensitive and I would not want to compromise your wellbeing or welfare. I have much experience in dealing with issues in which are hard to talk about, my previous documentaries have been talking to other victims of crimes, such as the disabled about the victimisation they have suffered. I by no means want to intrude and I hope it is clear that this is not my intention. However, as I am sure you understand this is an extremely serious topic and needs to be deemed as such by the police, criminal justice system and society.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask either below or this specially allocated email address- domesticviolencedocumentary@outlook.com. I really hope this is not taking as offensive by anyone, that really was not my intention. I am just serious about the cause. Just to re-illiterate everything will be confidential.
Kindest regards

Hi, I run the Hidden Hurt website, so if you wanted to send me an email with the details of what you are looking for and how to get in touch with you, then I would be glad to include it in my next newsletter (goes out to over 600 readers every month or even pop it up on a page on the site, We do have a Research section, so you could provide an article about what you are trying to do, your aims, and what participation would include, then we could give you a whole page to give as much detail and as many assurances as possible. Also, the university or college you are working with to conduct this. All we ask in return, is that once your research has been completed, that you write us a quick article on the results and what information you were able to draw from the research. Just send me an email on contact@hiddenhurt.co.uk All the best and look forward to hearing from you, Lindsey Mason www.hiddenhurt.co.uk
