Having now read through the book from cover to cover (okay, that is a lie, I got the audio version for the commute to work and back). What I can say is that this is BRILLIANT and I would especially recommend it for women (and men, just reverse the genders in your mind while reading) who are still in an abusive relationship, or have just left and are still in that transition stage of "have I made the right decision" or "should I go back for the sake of the children" or "was it really as bad as I imagined it to be"?
So, highly recommended, personally. Theoretically it is a daily book, with one chapter (short) for each day, but equally it would be helpful as the type of book that you just pick up and leaf through and read whatever happens to be be on the page you have landed on.
Recommended - a definite to stick on your wish list or get straight away if you can!
