Hey you and welcome here,
It is totally ok to be scared to post. If you feel more comfortable reading other posts for now, please feel very welcome to do that!
We have many visitors who first spend sometimes years just reading and then when it feels right, they share their story.
One thing maybe that could help you feel safe is to clear all of your browser history if you use the internet and do not feel safe on your computer/phone. Some abusers install programs that track which sites you visit and they can also get your passwords from your email and facebook account that way. Usually we advise that you use only a safe computer if you reach out for help (library/computer of a friend/work computer during break time if that is allowed etc.)

Sorry you feel scared to post just now. Like Janine said you can just read just now until you feel ready. Its hard sometimes to start with but hope you feel comfortable to post soon. We are all really supportive and have been through abuse so will understand.

Hey. Don't worry about not feeling ready to post. I know how you feel. It took me a while to dare, and even now I feel uneasy about it. I have reason to believe my SO may have installed something on here to track me. I'm doing this incognito, but not sure it matters? Anyway , enough about me. It's ok that you don't feel ready. Thanks so much for your posts here- I know Steve and Lindsay and I as administrators cannot always be here and sometimes go days or weeks without posting, so it is always great to see how this community has members who give each other support and kind messages. I hope we hear back from withinthelighthouse and it is SO kind of all of you to care!!!!
